Anyone out there using a dirt bike carrier for their hitch on their Yukon?

I want to find out what the weight capacity on my factory hitch on my '04 Yukon is?

The little guy and I are getting ready to start dirt biking, and I am wondering how many pounds of weight I could carry on the hitch, as I want to get a bike carrier that holds 2 dirt bikes. Not really interested in getting a trailer to haul the bikes if I can avoid it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Depends on you if you have a Class III or IV hitch. Either 500lbs or 1000 lbs.
Just look at what hitch you have and go from there.

Usually there is a little identification plate on the hitch. But I think the factory one is rated for 500 or 600 lbs tongue weight
