A few months ago my little cousin knocked out the red reflector in the back door of my suburban I had done a led conversion of the whole interior of my truck before hand so I saw that the hole was the exact same as the courtesy lights in the front doors. I picked some old courtesy light modules and connecters from an old junk yard and I found someone else who had done this before on the internet and they posted how only problem is there instruction is unhelpful. I figured I'd have to wire it to the BCM and run wire to the back door that way but I can't figure out what wires on the BCM would make it act like a normal courtesy light and can light (switch turns it on + doors tun it on unless cutoff is engaged). there is the courtesy light supervision wire which I believe is the one the other guy tapped in for his but he grounded his to a bolt in the back door which is where I get lost. From what I've read the supervision wire is a ground so what wires would I tap into for these to work. Thanks for anything you can give me.

Same line you tap for footwell lights. I forget off the top of my head which one that is but there's a ton of people here who have done that mod, just searchbar.

That write up isn't on here. Find the gmfs post for him.

@05Single you got any input?
mine came with lights. Or else I would tap into what was mentioned by 05alive.
Its what tapped into for both my footwell front and 2nd row lights.
