2004 Tahoe - Replace Radio with Current Generation?

Hi Guys,

I have a 2004 Tahoe Z71 with Bose, Onstar and rear DVD. If I buy a current generation (2007 or newer) double DIN GM radio, say from a Tahoe/Yukon/Burban, will that radio be a direct plug in replacement and everything will still work ok? Steering wheel controls, Bose, etc.

I've searched and couldn't find the answer. I'm sure someone here has tried.

Unfortunately, the 2003-2006 databus 2 system is not compatible with the 07+ lan system.
