Hello, I’m looking to replace the spark plugs on my 2004 5.3 flex Yukon but I’m having a challenge finding the correct replacement. Note, I have not pulled any yet as I’d like to have the new ones in hand first. It is still running fine with 190k with original plugs. Advanced Auto only shows Denso IT16TT for the iridium plugs. A cross reference from Denso shows Delco 41-100 as equivalent but I’m also reading that plug has been updated to the 41-162. Amazon indicates than neither fit my truck. I’m about to go with the delco 41-162 anyway but I thought I’d run this question by the experts here. Recommendations?
Thank You

I’d go with AC Delco 41-962. Rockauto is where I’d get them before I’d buy from Amazon as Amazon has issues with counterfeit parts sometimes.

Thank you. I believe the 41-962 is a platinum plug. I’m trying to stay with iridium.

By the way. Welcome to your first posts at the forum. You been a member longer than me.

By the way, you should never leave a spark plug in that long, no matter how well it runs.
Thank our very much. I realize they should have been replaced long ago. I also realize that I have to be super careful removing them. I’ll go take a look at Rock Auto, I’ve ordered from them before.
Thank you again.

Thank you for the previous answer. I just removed a single plug and found mine are Bosch HR8LII33U Double Iridium. It is in excellent shape after 20 years and 190k miles. I’ll be hard pressed to go with anything else at this point. Rock Auto list this as Bosch 9602.

Be careful. I've seen a lot of people across multiple GMT800 boards have problems with non-Delco plugs. This is on 4.8s, 5.3s, and 6.0s. I hope you have good luck with what you pick.

I kind of wonder if those Bosch came from the factory, though. I would think your plugs have been changed at least once.
