When cold the truck runs fine. Once it's warm it develops what sounds like a lifter tap and speeds up or slows down with engine speed. When cold the alternator is putting out 14.5 volts. When warm and knocking its at 12.90-13v. Does it sound like a bad alternator?. I put a screwdriver up to my ear and can't hear the knocking in the alternator though
