I would like to stick with the stock ride height...
Hard to do that because the your springs will have to be changed because your stock ones are too soft, and wether u go with a drop spring or a z71 spring you'll either have to drop or lift, only a matter of 1 inch or so, more like a lift level or a drop level.

@05Single @Storz there may be another option, norcal mentioned this a while back and it has stuck with me. 1 inch drop keys, 2 inch drop springs, and SP shocks, i believe somewhere in the ballpark of $500, seems like the cheapest way to deal with autoride.

He said $280 shipped, we'll probably add $100 shipped to Alaska :(
Sorry to thread jack, in the end I need best shocks for the money which are the same size as one would use for stock height or a 2/4 drop

The Moog '71 spring is the stock non-Z71 replacement.

Depends on how much that truck has been towing, don't the air shocks compensate for the ride weight on the springs ? Or you mean already soft from the factory ?

Im not an expert, just have done some researching on this myself because my 05 LT tahoe has autoride, but i believe that spring is going to be too soft.

Yeah the shocks are made softer because they work with the air shocks.

Maybe @NORCAL SS should make this a kit lol, call it the Autoride delete kit, 1" keys, 2" springs, SP shocks. & pull the RTD fuse.

Like a factory to factory kit. From factory autoride to factory basic ride lol. And a visa versa kit for those that want to upgrade to autoride
