No, there were no additional wires needed to make the radio work. All of that stayed exactly the same. The only additional wires I had to add were to get the CD changer hooked up.
The lux radio I have has the 6 changer in counsel also and XM is by glove box .. so I have the same thing..
I need to get radio programed also for my vin.
UB1 I think radio was . Thanks for info it's great because then be easy to put old system back in with out having a bunch of radio issues . If you remember witch wire in to was to CD changer let me know .. I post my findings also when I do the project .

This is the schematic for the CD Changer.
The only ones you need to add are Audio Left, Audio Right, Audio Common and Class 2 Serial Data wire. They splice into the same wires that the XM radio use for audio input. The computer system then determines which input you want to use automatically. No need for any additional programming. The other wires are already there in the main harness even in the tahoe that you can use (such as power for the cd changer, backlights, etc.)

About those wires I was just referring to...they are all spliced together at SP250 or Splice Pack #250 (their name for a group of wires that are all spliced together).

Sorry for the poor quality. Perhaps someone else could find the higher resolution version of this. Console connector C306.
W/O Y91 is for tahoe/yukon/avalanche models.
w/ Y91 is for Denali/Escalade models.

This is how i figured out how to get the wires moved around.
