2005 rearview mirror keeps falling off

I've been through this 3 times now. Used the Permatex mirror adhesive kit every time and followed the instructions perfectly. Mirror still falls off within a week.

I'm sure it doesn't help that it's 100 degrees outside this time of year, but is there a better adhesive to use?

That's a weird one. When you prep the window surface, are you using a solvent to remove any grease residue that may be there?

Just the little cleaning cloth that comes with the permatex kit.
I'd try something more aggressive (alcohol or carburetor cleaner), and perhaps a Mr. Clean scrubbing pad (won't hurt the glass surface), just to be sure that you have the cleanest glass surface before applying the glue.
