I just bought a 2005 Yukon it has the factory installed DVD player, and a aftermarket stereo and i can get any sound from the headphone jacks. Could the after market stereo be the problem?

I'm having the same issue. Going to Best Buy and then the dealership. I'll let you know what they say

I'll have to check mine. I took out the factory NAV and installed a single din Pioneer head unit. At the very least, the wireless headphones should work since it's just an infrared signal. I'll try to check before the end of the week

I just checked mine and it's working the same as it did before I changed the head unit. I could possibly see it not playing through the new head unit, but the headphones are IR and should still work.

My vehicle is a 2004 Denali with the factory DVD player. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I can change whether to use the stereo function or the headphones from the DVD player. On my unit, the stereo function is an FM modulator ( I guess ). I got my head unit through Crutchfield with all the adapter harnesses. If you did as well, you may want to give them a call. Hope you figure it out.

Best Buy told me you have to set your head unit to dual zone. I'm actually there now. Also check your harness. My rca came unplugged as well
