Hey guys and gals! New member and first post...did some searching before posting and seen different posts for vibration, but couldn't find anything with my issue...and it's odd! LOL

2005 Yukon SLT with autoride
5.3 with 134k miles on it

When I am in 2WD and get to 54mph (religiously) I get vibration up through 58/59mph. After hitting 60mph or higher it smooths out. Now...when I put on the Auto 4WD, I do NOT get any vibration! Just replaced the driver side inner and outer tie rods, but still have the same issue.

Thoughts?

front axles might be going bad. they spin all the time, 2wd or awd or 4wd, always spinning.

I forgot to mention that it vibrates when I am both accelerating or coasting at those speeds.

Well, I guess we'll find out in a few days. It goes to the local dealer tomorrow to figure it out. I bought it with a warranty, so if it is something major, I'm hoping it's covered. It's just the damnedest thing...most people I have talked to never heard of something like this. Oh well...I'll post once I know. Thanks!

At the risk of asking the obvious, when was the last time your tires were balanced. Mine did the same thing @72 MPH, under power or not.

They were balanced in October. The kicker is when you put it into Auto 4wd, the vibration goes away. I had to reschedule for the dealer this week. I’ll keep this updated once I know.

My 01 is doing the same thing. Haven't tried the auto 4wd thing yet. Hopefully that will work and get me by for a while. Eager to hear what they say is causing your vibration.
