2005 Z71 Tahoe Bumpers

Would the regular 2005 Tahoe rear and front chrome bumpers fit on my 2005 Z71?
Could they still receive the upper and lower plastic attachments?
And what is the best way to prepare and paint chrome surfaces so it won't peel off later?

Exact same bumpers for all 00-06 tahoes and trim levels.
As far as painting chrome I personally don't trust it. I'd rather vinyl wrap or powder coat. Or buy a raw paintable bumper.
But there are some people who have had luck with painting chrome and maybe the can chime in.

I wish I could find a raw paintable one then I wouldn't have a problem. All I can find around here are chrome ones.
I'd like to hear from people who had luck painting chrome bumpers with paint holding well enough. What did you guys do exactly?
