2006 Tahoe PPV Suspension Rebuild.

Hey All,

I've got a 2006 Tahoe PPV with 277k miles on it, in desperate need for new bushings.

Should I just replace the bushings or go whole hog and do a Detroit axle replacement kit?

Also should I have any issues due to the PPV Z56 suspension package?

I've read Detroit Axle isn't great. Doesn't last very long. I wouldn't waste my money on it if I was you. Have you priced out OEM? Can't beat oem for longevity.

You should definitely replace the bushings.
Don't know what a 'Detroit Axle' replacement kit is, except to say,
bet you can do better than Detroit Axle.

Would not be surprised if, after nearly 2 decades,
certain PPV parts would get superseded by civilian near-equivalents.
Your swaybars, for example, might not be as easy to replace as skinnier civilian swaybars?
Aren't your rear spring coils shorter than normal civilian coils? That kind of thing.
