Hello all,

I'm having issues on my 2006 Tahoe rear wiper. Delay works/High doesn't. It doesn't matter if I have the knob on 1 or 2, only delay works. I checked the tailgate connector, and nothing is burnt. I replaced the burnt connector years ago, and also re-did the ground at that time.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Can you test to see if the motor is getting current in the fast position?

Looks like the wire colors are as follows: Orange, Pink, Tan, Green, Black.

When Off (0): Power is to Orange and Pink
When on Low (1): Power is to Orange, Pink, and Tan
When on High (2): Power is same as Low: Orange, Pink, and Tan.

So it appears my Low and high are the same. What should have power on High? What could cause my Low and High to be the same?

Thank you.

So it appears the green wire should also have power when on '2'? Could this be a switch issue?

Thank you.

Most likely. If the motor isn’t getting the power check the switch and trace the wire through the top of the lift gate to make sure nothing is frayed.
