Chris,
When you purchase, would you please be so kind and and provide the part number?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, no problem, just not sure if I'm going to buy from the dealership or wait till my dad can get his old work to buy some O2 sensors for me, which I'll buy the PCV valve then!! What year is your truck?

So Scotty, I pulled my engine covers off just now and pulled out the PCV valve and tube out of the truck, not at all what I expected to see at all!! When I went to the dealership today, they said that the valve and tube were one piece, that you couldn't separate the 2 (that's what they thought, but didn't know for sure since they didn't have any in stock!). Well, mine separate from each other and the valve looks like an ordinary PCV valve but has nothing inside of it. No ball bearing or anything, completely hollow! Is that the fixed orfice one you were referring to? I included some pics of what I have, the valve does say delco on it!

Jochen, before you go out and buy a PCV valve, you should take your top and driver side covers off of your engine and locate yours to see if you have the same as I do!! Pretty easy if you haven't done it yet on your truck, the top cover has one bolt on top and the drivers side has 2 bolts down at the bottom of the cover, around the spark plugs themselves!! Then the valve is like mentioned, it's at the very rear of the drivers side valve cover and the hose goes to the top center of the engine, just behind where you unbolted the top cover!! Check it out and see if it matches what I have!!

Thanks Chris. Will do, but most likely not until this weekend.

The hollow valve is the new updated one. The old style has a ball inside.
