I picked up a 200g Yukon XL back in october. this is my first fullsize i have played with. it has the zw7 premium suspspension but seems like it does not have level but i may be reading sticker wrong. looking to change all 4 shocks as they look to be horrible shape. they are super scaley and dond have a single like of paint or any decals left. it is a north east truck. i wanted to run sachs. gm genuine or ac delcos for shocks prefer to match same brand/series at all 4 corners if possible. i do alot of long distance driving so trying to get truck up to *****.

this will get a lot of noise, but premium smooth ride is ZW7 and G65. you could put the sachs/nivomats on but would need softer springs.

so what your saying is since i dont have the g65 designation on my sticker is to convert to the nivomats and try to locate the proper springs to go with it? with the bilstiens from what i seen almost all the rears are requiring a new spring . i am looking to try and keep this simple with a straight swap of shocks.

if you had nivomat/sachs originally they need a stiffer spring to convert to a standard shock. conversely, it appears you don't have those so to change to them, you'd need a softer spring.

it has been pretty nice so far. those front shocks seem to be discontinued everywhere i look.
The RPO codes don't show G65, so this Premium Smooth Ride didn't have the Nivomats from the factory.

Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, Florida says they have them.
i will try calling them on monday may get lucky and they will ship them
been away for awhile so update on what i did. i called the Plant City dealership who said they did not have them in stock. the parts guy gave me number of 2 dealership phone number numbers that are the only 2 in the GM system. one dealership in Missouri and 1 in California. each showed 2 shocks in stock. Called Missouri dealership. Guy at parts counter was super helpful. he said the 2 that showed in there system was incorrect. but he gave me a few parts to choose from to look into. He said for his personal truck which is a suburban( basically same as my yukon xl) he ran the ac delco gold/ heavy duty line shocks ACDelco Specialty 525-68 rear and the ACDelco Specialty 525-59 fronts . so those are what i ordered up to try out for now. thank you everyone who tried to help out especially swathdiver .
