2006 Z71 Tahoe fog light issue

Looking for a little assistance. My fog lights on my tahoe have stopped working. I've checked bulbs, and fuses, with no luck. The fog light button on the dash lights up but no foglights on low beam or high beam. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you know they only come on when the lows or parking lights are on also?

Sorry to be correcting you here Chauncey, but on my 2006 Yukon, they come on WITHOUT LOWS or PARKING, as long as the truck is in DRIVE and the DRL's are on, the fogs will switch on as well.

Don't be sorry. I should be sorry for assuming that his 2006 is the same as my 2000. So, drls on means e brake off- correct Jochen?

CORRECT Chauncey. AND, the truck has to be out of PARK. In PARK, even with the Parking Brake OFF, the DRL's will NOT come on on my '06.

03+ DRL's are not tied into the parking brake circuit at all anymore.

Mine only turn on if the truck is running... just an fyi.

There is a relay for the fog lights in the fuse panel under the hood. Its possible that relay could have failed.

I checked the relay under the hood. It is good. The only other thing I can think of is cut wiring or chaffed wiring harness that has shorted out. I have power to the fog light button on the dash. I checked the bulbs, and both appear to be good, no burned filament....
