The steering is hard to turn.
I have tried to change the power steering fluid and use seafoam to flush with no luck.

I'm sure there are several things that need to replace. It squeeks when going over speed bumps, the drive shaft rubber is ripped open (no rust) and I have greased the metal underneath.

As far as the steering I get the whine when turned fully left or right.
The steering is not so hard I have to crank on it but definitely showing wear. I also have to manually get it to center.
It wants to skate a little left or right when on bumpy roads.
Lastly there is also play in the wheel before the turning begins.

Hoping I can get a ball park of pricing to get this thing back into shape

Crawl under there and see if the rack and pinion bushings are loose or gone.

at 144k if you have not maintained it then probably looking at inner & outer tie rods, maybe ball joints, other bushings like mentioned above
the play could be wheel hubs as well check those too.

Thanks looked into replacing that here in the forums sounds like it may be a little out of my league. Some even suggesting needing to possibly remove the whole thing to replace them.
