2007 Denali engine longevity? (200k+ miles) Common issues?

10-4 wish I was more of a grease monkey but just not in my jeans...just don't know if I wanna take the risk buying something with that many miles knowing I might have to spend more than I'm willing to in the near future...we'll see I guess


Well did you buy it? if you dont do your own maintanance/repairs and "enjoy" doing it than any vehicle with 220k is probably not going to be a good experience for you. We bought our 08 XL1500 for $17.5 otd with 127k, "perfect" dealer maintained carfax service record. This is the most comfortable/safe/effecient vehicle that i have ever owned. These are great vehicles and i was "lucky" in regard to AFM/DOD as i was unaware of the 08 not being built with that mess. you will love the vehicle but if it glitches/craps you will likely be on here with a dissapointing experience. For another $10k you can reduce the miles by 100k and potentially get some kind of warranty? I do all my own work and that's what makes buying a high milage vehicle work for my family.
