Yep. As stated above, we have an ex-TxDPS Camaro that got repainted. You can still see the edge of the black paint on the sail panels. IIRC, the cars are white, and they apply the black.

When done, it will look like this:

The Tahoe started out as a solid white Tahoe, the upfitter people painted the black over the white.

I love this thing.
I have the original window sticker.
Has a oil cooler and 3,73 gears.

The parameters are all open, Which means if you take it out on the salt flats and hold it down she will just go.

No speed limiters at all.

It has also been lowered and rides like a corvette.

Its so much fun to drive.

I've been super busy with it.

Wiring repair for the upstream O2 sensors and wiring repair all in the engine compartment with fresh new wire looms.
Did the retro fit cabin air filter which was much needed. I cut out the cabin airfilter cover only to discover a wall of mold and dirt. Used a vacuum and spent about 2 hours delicately cleaning the evap core then took the water hose to it, installed the new retro fit cabin air filter. Now it drains perfectly and blows with good force.
changed the oil, rear diff fluid and repained the windshield wiper arms, replaced the front headlights with brand new ones, installed all L.E.D. lights up front and blue L.E.D. interior dome lights.


Replaced two of the tpsm's and got her a fresh State inspection.
She is all legal now with zero DTC's and no tire lights anymore.
Also pulled the oil pressure sensor screen for a good cleaning but it was already pretty much clean.


Still adding seafoam to every tank of fuel.

Maybe down the road a flowmaster and some new door speakers.

This thing has been so much fun to tinker on.

It does look like a Plano unit to me. Judging from the photos, I'm going to place this in Garland. Either way, got that looking pretty nice!
