2007 Suburban LT - Weird noise when flooring it

I had the Volant Supertips for the 5.3L on my Tahoe and it didn't make that noise. High grade SS and very well built...

Thanks ... I actually posted the picture for your reference so you can see the difference (if any) between yours and one that doesn't have the issue yours had.

I believe SLP makes one for the 5.3 ... if I'm not mistaken 07Burb has one.

I am going to order one for mine this week. The Volant looks nice too...but I think the SLP may be a hair cheaper. Stay tuned

This is interesting. My Denali makes a similar sound when the pedal is all the way down. A friend said it sounded like tires spinning. To me it sounds like a whistle or belt slipping. I'll have to check my dual tips. I hate to remove them but might be worth a try.

This is EXACTLY how my symptoms were, sounded like howling or squeeling tires.

I am willing to bet money that as soon as you take that dual tip off, the noise is gone.
