Nice. Like the color.
And about the service airbag Jacob is probably right I had that message and tracked it down to a disconnected plug under the passengers seat.

Make sure when taking off the headlight you remove the wheel well cover to remove the bolt underneath the headlight so that doesn't snap off when trying to change out your DRL. Also if you see the V4 to V8 change you definitely have AFM.

More like 15 minutes tops if you have never taken the bumper cover off. I learned pretty quick when I had my Cheap O HID kit.

15 minutes? good lord... takes me about 30 minimum. I cant rush that stuff, too worried about scratching the bumper or something stupid.

Yup, the very first time I just rushed to pull out my Tahoe tail light I gashed the top of my bumper ... three lessons leaned 1. Always put a rag tween the light and the bumper when taking tails out, 2. Once the clear coat scuffs it looks like ten kinds of ass, 3. NEVER RUSH

My original point was he could do it himself and it's not rocket science. :Handshake: not worth paying someone to do for him

Yes, pulling the front bumper is very easy. Just don't forget to unplug the fog lights. And, 15-30 minutes seems about right.

As for the airbag issue, worst case scenario is a failed sensor in the seat. It's very easy to replace, but the part can be a little pricey. You can install it yourself in less than 1 hour, but it'll probably need to be programmed by the dealer. If you want more info please send me a PM as the pisa are good that I may miss any reply to this post. I just did a similar job for my neighbor on her 07 Equinox. If your fix is anything like hers, your won't need anything more than a basic socket set.

1. Daytime running lights are easy to change. I need to the same on mine.
2. Yes it appears yours has the fuel management system. Not sure if they all have it in 07 or not.

The airbag message is most likely one of the sensors unplugged. Mine currently has the same message. I just have not taken the time to track down where it's unplugged at. Most likely on the console side of the passenger seat cuz the wife likes putting stuff down there like umbrellas and stuff.

Thanks very much Jacob.

1. I changed the Daytime Running Light this evening after work. It was pretty simple, but the NBS Truck is way easier.
2. Cool, I assume this will help with the gas mileage.

I wonder if the Airbag Issue happened when the dash was replaced?

Thanks very much.

I will definitely check that out in regards to the plug for the airbag.

Did not have to take the bumper off.

It did not appear that there was a bolt on the bottom. I simply took two bolts on the top off and then I moved the headlight assembly outwards and released the two plastic pins that align the headlight to the fender. I just got enough room in order to get my hand down there in order to exchange the bulb.
