This most likely is related to the transmission valve body problems GM is having with their 10 speed transmissions. There have been 2 major recalls so far, one for the GM Light Trucks and SUVs, then more recently one for Cadillacs and the Camero. I highly suspect this recall will be expanded to include the 2023-2025 models pretty soon. Have seen 2025 model problems at under 1000 miles!
Was your truck ever recalled for the TCM software update?
If so, was the software updated?
What are the symtoms when you are driving? No shifting, harsh shifting, Limp mode?
If the software update was performed, then apparently only the P0747 code is what triggers the extended valve body coverage, but if your truck is still within the powertrain warranty, you should be covered for a replacement valve body if this is what is suspected to be the cause of your error codes.
The PROBLEM is there are no replacement valve bodies to be found at the moment. Some customers have been waiting in excess of 3 months for a replacement valve body!!!
Suggest you search this forum and the Engine and Powertrain section carefully. Search my user name as well.
I have 6000 miles on my truck and no transmission related problems, YET, however, I am spending $1500 of my own money and updating the valve body myself because I am a firm believer it is not IF but WHEN the valve body will become a problem.
Maybe if you are lucky, your problem may be something like a bad battery, but be informed and prepared for what you may be up against!
Good luck, please update what happens.
If the vehicle is unsafe to drive based on what happened, please submit a NHTSA complaint as it may help others in the future.
