I just went to purchase Toyo Proxy ST II for my 2007 tahoe ltz. I wanted the 285/45r22 but they rubbed when they were put on. I am a little confused because I was running 305/40r22 with 2 or 3 inches of lowering prior and had no rub. My question is what size tire should i be able to run at stock heighth with 22" rims??? (without rubbing in the front on the drivers side????) thankx

If you changed wheels, the offset could be causing the problem.

interesting...I run 285/45/22 on TBSS 22s with no rubbing issues at all. What wheels are you running?

I actually have a similar question, I have a stock 2010 tahoe.
I am getting a set of 22x9.5 soon and was wondering if i could get away with 285/45/22 or 295/45/22 or EVEN 305/45/22 tires with out rubbing. I deally, I want to get as much rubber on the rims as possible..

the offset choices I am offered for these wheels are +8, +15, +20,+30

not sure what offset is best for our truck... any advice?

thanks guys
