Yeah the bottom 5 coils on mine are sitting flat and 2.5 are free and they are brand new.

This seems just plain wrong to me.

Seems to be the equivalent of heating the springs or old springs sagging.

If coils are mostly touching, then technically, under the weight of truck there is nothing "progressive" about the springs any longer.

They are only "progressive" off the truck.

When the weight of the truck is placed on them, they instantly touch, no longer "progressive".

The progressive coils under the weight of the truck turn into dead coils.

I agree but the thing is with a non "progressive" coil the whole coil is too short for stock end links and has the ability to move around over large extension of the suspension.

This is very true. My DJM coils would bonce around. The Belltechs stay in spot because they always in tension between the body and the suspension.

Unclipping the shocks made a good difference in ride quality. Over all I am very pleased with the drop as the looks for me out weights how it rides now. Now it does not look like a soccer moms Tahoe, lol

yeah if you adjust the sensors will lift the truck up to the 3 inch level like other springs and ride better due to more air in the shocks but you will go up over 1 inch in rear which will be major rake.

Unclipping the autoride shocks to test out as you saw it does ride better. The shocks sometimes over compensate for the drop if you go more than 3 inches.

Your going to need to cut that bracket off the frame then you can load it down and be fine. The shocks will air up to keep at the 35 inch level you are at now. If you want to gain ride quality just adjust the autoride links higher and will lift truck back up and ride better but at a cost of 2 inches of rake (34.25 front and 36.5 rear) On my truck with the pedders springs before I cut them down sat at 36.5/36.75 way little to much rake for me.

Okay so me and Norcal have been talking all morning long and figured out the problem. So as embarrassing as this is we forgot to switch out the bump stops to the shorter stop provided in the kit which we threw away, lol. Driving around on bump stops ftl, sigh... Jacked up the truck and pulled the bump stops and cut them from 4" long to 2.5" long giving me a clearance of 1" before hitting. Now the tahoe rides almost as good as before the drop. Thanks for all the help Norcall!

Tahoe sit 34.25 in front and 34.75 in rear, very very level drop.
