So I have just bought a 2007 Tahoe and the rear window won't open? I have read forums about the switch being rotted out but this switch looks mint and the key pob won't release the window ether? If the switch was damaged will the key pob still work? Is there a fuse? Any info would be great thanks!

on mine you have to hold the key fob button a while before it pops the window. it's so that you dont accidentally open it and drive off, getting fumes in the vehicle

Still looking for a response to this one if there is one. Check mine and the switch is rotted out, however not sure this is directly related to the FOB not being able to open the back glass.

Is there a fuse I can check or is there a separate lock actuator for just the glass in the lift gate?

There is a fuse in the fuse box on the driver side. Can't remember the fuse name but the instructions should help you. I have this same problem but I have a bad wire somewhere because every time I replace a fuse it will work for a little bit until I open the rear hatch then it will blow the fuse. This fuse being blown also effects my rear wiper blade.

I'm now having the same problem my rear window will not open either from the fob or the button. I just replaced the button with a brand-new one and it still won't work. As an added bonus my rear wiper won't work either. 07 Tahoe LT.

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
