Congrats on picking the thoroughbred of the two. The 6.2L will never flinch. There’s no cylinder deactivation and the 385hp/403tq going through the AWD is minimal effort for the motor. That equals longevity. Expect 200-300k from the motor. Four heated seats is a must. With the remote start it will heat the seats and interior if you leave the HVAC in Auto setting.

There’s a bulletin stating GM customers up North can have the dealer pop in a 4G OnStar that has factory BT built in. All your 2/3G towers are retired. US customers are excluded from the offer. Along with the BT it adds instant verbal download through the mirror button to Navi directions zapped into your speedo console and verbal as it senses your location for 100% of US and CAN. They stopped the hands free calls through their network but you still get all the other emergency services like fuel delivery, tow, accident alert if airbag deployed and emergency calls if you don’t have a cell.

If you don’t need your Navi connected to their network, you can install a preloved 2/3G 2009-2014 OnStar module that will give you factory integrated BT to the truck.

What are these black matte strips around wells and doors, for rust protection? How did you install them?
Looks like either bedliner material or a similar product on the sides anyway, the bumper looks painted
