2007 yukon denali to tow a trailer good or not good

Hello

I would buy me a yukon denali 6.2l 6 speed to tow a trailer 5,000 pounds but I noticed that there is no 2x4 and 4x4

is it a good vehicle for towing

or is it that it's better with yukon 5.3 liters 4 speeds but with the 2x4 or 4x4

is anybody can help me

Denali will have a lot more passing power and the tranny is stronger.

and towing with a Denali will get you about 3MPG. I'm exaggerating...a little

Check the rear axle ratio. I have a 07 2wd Tahoe with the 5.3 and a 3:42 rear axle and it doesn't tow worth a darn. I even tried a superchips tune with no improvement. I've heard the 4:11 is the way to go.
