Took a trip this past weekend, about 800 miles in total, with no issues. All of the sudden went to crank the car the next morning and this happens.
. Truck has about 136k on it and to my knowledge no past fuel issues. It runs fine once it starts and it will crank right back up if turned off and then right back on. If it sits for any more than a few minutes then it does this or something like it. Doesn't run rough, idle rough, skip, misfire.. NOTHING. Just extended crank with no messages. Haven't taken it yet to be read for any codes, which I probably should already have done. Any ideas?

Change the fuel pump assy. The fuel pressure regulator is bleeding off.

Is there any check valve that it could be in the engine bay or with this integrated fuel pump assy that's the only thing it could be?

Same thing happened to me. The metal elbow on my fuel pump was rusting and it would bleed the fuel pressure. Try turning the key on and letting it sit for about 10 secs and it should start right up. Get a fuel pressure gauge and check to see if it holds pressure after turning off the vehicle. It it bleeds down immediately like mine did then you are on borrowed time. Have you been noticing a smell of raw
Fuel too? Look around your gas tank and see if you see any leaks or smells of gas
