Welcome to TYF!

Aftermarket parts to help improve gas mileage? Hmmm... There's a custom tune, narrower tires on smaller and lighter wheels, a 3/4+ drop, roof rack delete, weight reduction...

It's not recommended, but you can run cheaper gas. Just don't tow anything heavy, avoid hills, and stay outta the throttle. Honestly, you have the wrong vehicle to be concerned with saving a few pennies on fuel! You'd spend more on modifying it for an extra 1-2 MPG than what it may save you in this lifetime.

You don't buy a vehicle with a 6.2 and try and get better fuel mileage. The 6.2 wasn't built to sip gas, it's meant to be a performer. Also having AWD is another fuel robber, a 2WD one may get slightly better mileage.

What are you getting for fuel mileage now? How many miles are on it?

Edit: Also, Welcome to the forum from Iowa.

You have the worst of both worlds. Denalie 6.2 is supposed to take Premium gas and has the worst gas mileage. To save a little, people grab the 5.3 liter. A little better on gas and can take regular with confidence.
