Not arguing with Neo. He is a friend.
In my personal findings....
I know for a fact that say a factory Denali 20 (the pretty chrome ones) is 37 pounds.
I asked factory reproductions as well about the TBSS. They are 37 pounds for a 22.
Most aftermarket 20s are 32-42 pounds.
It really depends on the manufacturers. Some wheels like Demodas are really heavy.
Amongst the lightest wheels available are the D2s.
If you go on tirerack.com and search your application a whole list of wheels pulls up. From there you can sort them by factors such as weight.
This way you can see some of the lightest ones to the heavy ones.
My AR840 are among the lighter ones. Stock Escalade 22s with the tires are about 98 pounds.

One also has to figure in the rotational mass factor.
A 24 inch wheel at 37 pounds is going to still handle and affect performance differently than a 20 inch 37 pound wheel. Simply because the rotational mass is located further away from the mounting point.
A 5 pound weight rotating from a 2 foot piece of rope is easier to stop than a 5 pound weight rotating from a 4 foot piece of rope.
A 5 pound reduction at the rotors is much less apparent than a 5 pound reduction at the edge of the rim.... which is the heavier part of the wheel.
Larger wheels also increase unsprung weight....which is a negative for handling.
