All of a sudden wife says Tahoe won't take gas. The code po449 has been on for 6 months (to lazy too fix). Being wife complaining its time to fix. I went to pull the vent solenoid and noticed that the solenoid was VERY warm. Tahoe was cold and only drove a 150 yrd to my shop. Removed valve and blew thru it then jumped it with 12v and it closed so appears ok. Took off canister, blew thru it, seemed ok a (little restrictive has 130,000 mi on it). It appears to me the gas filling problem is that something is powering the solenoid to stay closed all the time. Any Ideas, wife is getting excited, 10 min to get 3 gals.
