My Tahoe has almost 58k and the only Maintenance I’ve ever done is oil changes…

Do I really need to do anything?

Transmission fluid?

Fuel filter?

Fuel injectors?

Rear diff?

Brakes?

Steering fluid?

Any other service yall can think of?

What’s needed and what is Bull Sheet….

I did my brakes at 60k, but they needed it pretty badly. Lots of steep hills in Birmingham, AL, believe it or not.

Fuel Filter is always a good idea. May need an air filter too?

If a dealer tells you you need any of the other stuff at 60k, its BS.

Yeah your brakes are probably on their last straw I pushed mine to 70k and had to get new rotors. Don't know about fuel filter I've always used good gas. Air filter haven't replaced still looks new at 82k.

You've had the same air filter for 82k miles???? Is it the stock filter I'm guessing? I replace mine every 6k and it's really dirty when I do too.

According to Wix, the fuel filter is not serviceable. I haven't checked, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is a part of the fuel pump module.

Yep, the fuel filter is no longer an inline part. It's part of the pump.
