First post new 2009 tahoe ls owner.
My tahoe did not come with the fog lamps. Behind the caps ar there wires for the fog lamps?? Also my headlights are really bad. I've read some reviews on the restoration kits but with just terrible condition of my lights is it really worth it or should I just buy replacements. If I go replacements I'm looking at the depo or tyc replacements. Any thoughts.

OK. Finally found some info in the avalanche section. Looks like I need the controls for the dash and wire the lamps in the housings myself. Doesn't look to diffucult. Looks like I can get an oem kit for this install.

I would definately go with replacements if your lenses are as bad as u say, and for the fog lights no the wires won't be there and the headlamp switch is different, however look up GM part #19157652, this is a OEM fog lamp kit that comes with all necessary components to add fog lights

Thanks for the info. Went ahead and spent the 20 bucks and bought a restoration kit for my headlights. I am going to buy some down the road but time being they will work. Very surprised how they came out considering the condition they were in. I did seal them so we will see how long they last. Sorry for the bad pics. Sun was in my face.

The headlights on your truck are maybe 3 times better than mine when i bought the truck but i did a trick that turned my headlights almost netter than brand new was that after sanding i sealed them with clearcoat

At least I'm not the only one with terrible headlights, haha.
They look great, I don't think mine came out that good.
I'm not even going to bother trying to polish them again.
