I'm sort of new to this, but I thought the police spec calipers were larger pistons? According to pictures in have seen on the interwebs...

no the calipers and pistons are all the same size, they just put in seals that are a little more heavy duty than normal, you can order them from many places with heavy duty seals
additionally unless you are buying new ac delco calipers, 99% of the calipers on the market are simply rebuilt ac delco.
the only aftermarket maker that creates there own cast from scratch is raybesto's there maybe another but nothing I have ever been able to find
don't be fooled, many re-brands will say "new" but when you read the fine details you discover this is not the case and they are simply re-built to oem specs
this is why you pay a "core-charge" when you buy calipers from the auto parts store all those cores get re-built, same for starters and alternators and a few other misc things

piston size may vary slightly from 46~51mm it varies across the board and may depend on the remanufacture process
