Hello folks,
Seems like I found a couple dozen posts and U-Tube posts about my problem 201 Tahoe Seat Heater/Cooler issue, but nothing specific to my problem, so thought I would ask here. My Tahoe's passenger side heated & cooled seat works fine. When on high heat, the cooling fan can be heard cycling every so often, and I can hear the relay at the front of the seat click when I turn the heat on. On Cooling, it works fine, although the fan is quite noisy when on top speed. The driver's seat is a different animal. The power plug is not burned. The relay can be heard when I select Heat on the door button, but the seat doesn't heat up, nor does the fan run. On selecting Cool, the fan doesn't run. I suspect that I have either a burned out fan, or a burned out control module. The selector switches light up on the door and stay lit until I turn them off, the relay at the front of the seat clicks, but the fan doesn't work on Cool, nor Heat. The Heat function doesn't heat the seat. I assume that the Heat function will not work if the cooler blower is faulted? Any ideas on a more in-depth troubleshooting plan would be appreciated. If anyone knows the location of the Blower Motor in the driver's seat, please chime in.
Thank you!
Amanda
