Hey,
This is my first post on here... Been trolling for a while as I'm in the market for a "new" SUV for the wife. Our family is growing and we need to upgrade to something with a little more room.

I have a 2010 Yukon SLT home on a test drive now, it's fully loaded and has 100,000km (60,000mi) on it.

After further inspection it looks like there's a leveling kit on it, which I'm not overly enthused about as I'm more of a "lowered kinda guy".

Hopefully someone can help me out, here's a few pics I took today.

Grounds sloped back here so it looks a little Cali lean, but it doesn't on level ground:

Picture from the AD, as you can see looks level here... not so cali lean:

Rolling on stock size tires:

Front Suspension, looks like a spacer only on the top?

20140201_113346_zps02173be2.jpg

20140201_130221_zpsdae23187.jpg

The rear looks stock, no spacer under the spring...

Couple pics next to a bone stock Yukon XL with same size tires:

20140201_125848_zpsec27f221.jpg

Fender measurements on the XL are 36" up front, 38" out back. This one measures 37/37.25" up front and 37.5" in the rear.

Is it safe to say this thing has a 1.5" leveling kit up front?

Looks like the P.O. had larger tires on it before, definitely a few rub marks on the front inner wheel wells and a few signs of mud on the under carriage.

Interior is mint with heated black leather, heated bench 2nd row, sunroof, Rosen head unit, Advent flip down rear DVD, etc...

Exterior is so-so... Has a few light scratches down the sides, and a little bit of a fender bender on the front pass side bumper. Wheel well is kinked and the paint is scuffed along the front.

It run's and drives awesome, has brand new shocks, rotors and brakes out back. Other than the few exterior blemishes it looks pretty solid.

Also not so sure on the color, apparently some find it desirable but I've only ever owned black. It definitely seems to show less dirt though, which is nice!

Anyone have any pictures of a Leveled up front Hoe/Yuk rolling on 22's with street tires?

Anything else you guys think I should look for, or to be concerned about?

Any insight is appreciated, thanks !

Leveling kit looks horrible in my opinion.

Almost looks like the engine is pulled......

I would either raise the back to get a rake or lower it.

Color is nice.

Blemishes can be polished out.....some of them anyway.

Thanks for the advice, i think I would eventually pull the spacer... Can't seem to find any pictures of a 1.5" leveling kit with 22's and street tires. Might look a little "donk" though.

We're going to go talk numbers tomorrow, hopefully the exterior blemishes will give me leverage but we'll see. My wife's not really sold on the color either though... We've both only ever owned black vehicles.

Roof rack removed, de-badged, aftermarket grille and leveling kit.

I kinda like the color.

The color will grow on you. If you have only had black cars them you will appreciate how that color still looks clean when it's dirty. The same amount of dirt that would drive you crazy on a black truck. Wax it allot. Get a good body shop to wet sand and buff if. Make a appointment after the weather stars to warm up.

I think I could pull off that color if I lost that chrome grill insert, threw on some black 22" Ck375's, tossed that hideous fuel door in the garbage and did sometHing with the headlights.

I'm more fond of the Tahoe's front clip, the yukon lights are so "in your face" huge... I'm not one for cheezyeeBay projector, led, angel eye crap... I don't think they'd look good colormatched unless the truck was black. Maybe if I had 3m smoked film applied they'd kinda blend in.

Anyone have pics of thOse gaudy lights smoked?

Couple quick photoshops:

No 22's but they're black so you get the idea...

I think we've abandoned the idea of buying this Yukon, the wife is set on black and we both agree the Tahoe front clip looks better. I just don't know if I can live with those huge ass headlights on the Yukon. It is a beautiful truck though and the dealer is planning on repairing all the exterior blemishes...

We found a 2011 Tahoe LTZ with only 50,000km (31000mi) for a really good price. It's fully loaded with every option other than navigation, which after seeing the Rosen unit is not a deal breaker... It's fully debadged and comes with factory 20's PC'd black, mounted on winter tires. Also comes with a set of ugly 22's, haha. We haven't seen it in person yet, but it still has 1yr/10000km of warranty left so that's a huge seller. As long as there's no damages, the interior is clean and the vehicle history report checks out I think we'll try to work out a deal.

Summer 22's (anyone know what wheels these are):
