Be glad your truck gave its life to save yours. And what everybody else said about it being a *Ord. In all seriousness I'm gonna get myself bashed but I like the eco boost 150 but I like my heavy Chevy more.

I've heard u can get the max on insurance claims involving a dwi. I would expect to be duly compensated to get a new truck under the current model year. Hope your wife makes a speedy recovery. As for the drunk he deserves to be skull drug. Penalties should be higher because shit like this happen far too often.

Thanks for all the kind words and moral support. Been real busy today with doctors appointments for my wife, things are getting a little better for her but this medical bill/insurance thing looks like its going to get complicated. I'll go back and answer all the specific questions as soon as I can.

Obviously you can't tell that I was just giving you a little crap. It could be worse. I was going to originally say something off-color, but thought it was tasteless and harsh, especially since it included your wife. Which comment would you prefer?

Hey, Man I was just playin too. I really did smoke a 6.0 though, it was a 3/4 ton truck.
No harm - No Foul, I'm an old thick skinned redneck white boy, I can take it.

Ouch! Did her head hit the windshield??

Glad she's ok, for what it's worth.

Sorry about your truck.

Holy S! Paul, glad everyone is ok and the wife recovers quickly. What an idiot! Sucks to have to deal with all the BS of the aftermath of an accident.

Don't know if this is too soon, but have you had a chance to think about what the next vehicle will be?

I love OBS Chevy's and I'll never sell my Hoe but Chevy has got to come out with something better before I buy new from them again. I ain't advertising for Ford or anything but I drove the Eco for almost a year before it was totaled and it is everything Ford advertises it to be. It's the best MPG & Power combo in a 1/2 ton truck out there right now IMHO.

I have two local dealerships wanting to sell me carbon copy 2012's of the 2011 truck I had. I'll replace it with whichever one gives me the best deal. Just waiting on the insurance company to send out an adjuster.

No, air bag gave her a good punch in the face, and I think the shoulder strap broke her collar bone. The worse part of it all is the abdominal bruise, I'm guessing from the seat belt. Black, Blue and Red all across her lower Abs and real sore.

We're both over 50 but probably in better shape than most 25 year olds and we still got beat up pretty good but she somehow got the worst of it.
