Picked up a chinese Android radio that supposedly is a factory fit. Install after laying everything out and pulling off the trim was quite easy. The issue (apparently known) is the rear has a buzzing and very little sound coming from the speakers. Its almost like all of the sound is bridged to feed the front only (which sounds great but is VERY loud). I'm being told to cut a specific wire while I'll try tomorrow. If it works, this is a great upgrade. The interface is quick (despite having only 2GB RAM) and Android Auto (wireless) connected immediately.

Some pics, I'm not going to put the dash back together until I know I'm keeping it, etc

(Support says cut the brown wire on Harness labeled "2")

**Update** can't get the rear speakers to work, but went back and forth with support trying 2 or 3 things, apparently I missed a harness to harness amp trigger wire (not sure why that's not presoldered but whatever). Will re-re-swap tomorrow and report back.

**another update** amp trigger wire re-attached, now as soon as its powered on a LOUD buzzing plays over the rear speakers. Spoke to support again and they're sending me another radio. Swapped back to the factory radio and all works (so its not the wiring or amp). This is frustrating... I might end up with a name brand Pioneer, etc

Do you have one or two to recommend?

BOSS Audio has some cheap options:

^^ I have 2 of these, one in my 03 Denali and one in my daughter's Mazda

^^ This one has a full 7" screen and a 5 year warranty

I like that the radio has the factory look. Keep us posted. I've been thinking about the same idea.

This was a hail mary, as the feature list is great. I received a replacement radio (same model) and have the same exact issue. I'm giving up and ordering something from crutchfield. I solved the humming and buzzing, but can't get the amp to wake up for the rear speakers enough to have anything but VERY low volume.

**Update** just ordered this

I installed a Phoenix 13” radio plug and play and it has better sound than the original one. $550 on sale . Just google it. There is a learning curve but I’m very happy with it. No buzz and retained most all features in including the back up camera.
