I also have a 2011 LTZ. My hood vibrated too. I adjusted the bumpers on the front corners and it took care of it. With the hood closed and latched push down on each front corner. If it moves you need to adjust the stops. Very easy to do.

I don't notice any problems with the front suspension. Mine rides very well.

My tires do not rub. I have the standard style LTZ wheel but with the chrome option. Your dealer may need to check this.

I find the seats are very comfortable and are not too narrow. I weight 250 lbs. Most reviews I read before buying the Hoe gave the seats high marks for comfort. It and my 02 Yukon before it are only a few of the vehicles that I can drive/ride in on a trip and my butt doesn't get sore after a few hours. Maybe they will soften some for you with use.

Is it modded at all or just stock? If stock, I'd take your issues into the dealership and have them fixed under warranty. Were these issues not prevalent when you bought it?

I too have a 2011 LTZ, just reached 3600 miles. hood, tires and suspension is fine other than my alignment being off a bit i'm happy. Did you try to adjust the lumbar support (deflate is a bit)?

I also have a 2011 LTZ and i have not had any of the probelms you have described. I have the Chevrolet 22" rims and these do not rub when turned all the way in either direction. I currently have about 4,200 miles on it and i have noticed that the leather seat did get a bit more comfortable after a few months of driving it.

The only diveablitly issue i have had is with the transmission. Sometimes when downshifting it feels like it wants to take off when it downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear when i break suddenly but it does not do this all the time. I hear this is common with the 6-speed transmissions.

I also had a service engine light come on at about 3,500 miles. I hit the onstar button and they did a diagnostic on it and it said that i had a misfire in the #5 and #7 cylinder. I took it into the dealer the next day and they found the code and found when the misfire happened that triggered the service light. They cleared the code and tried to reproduce it by driving it for about 60 miles but could not reproduce it. They said it could have been bad fuel or something.

Since then i have not had any problems with it and it runs and rides great!

Now that I have 55,000 miles into it

The standard front 20" tires rub the inner fender when turning 100% both ways I took it to the dealer and there was nothing he could do to fix he told me that it is working and no defects or bents are present... Replaced the OEM bridgestone Alenza tires which are very bad in wet conditions for a set of Michelin LTX MS/2 and the difference is day and night in how it improves braking, cornering, traction!

The restrain of the front safety belt driver side has stopped working and had to replaced.

The transmission was service with new oil and filter and checked ok but its sound is more loud It also does the weird lack of downshift from time to time by itself dealer said it was normal but it doesnt feel like it when it does

3 outside door handles have been replaced already and the dashboard broke next to passenger sidebag and had to be replaced by the dealer.

The lack of cabin A/C filter is a real problem with odors and fumes. The idiot at the factory that eliminated this filter in the Tahoe should be shot! :gunner: I took it to the dealer and sealed with silicone the opening but still the fumes and odors get inside even with recirculation on. Also had to refill 2 cans of refrigerant gas into my AC at 51,000 miles and had to replace the AC recirculation switch at 46,000 miles

Fuel consumption is as bad as new... 13 mpg in highway and 10 mpg city and dont get over 70mph it goes down to 9mpg!

Replace the air filter with K&N reusable performance air filter and it works great.

Had to replace to MASS sensor body at 22,000 miles and the rear wiper switch at 41400 miles it stopped working

The front seats arent as confortable as my previous Tahoe 2002 they reduced about 2 inches wide and about 3 inches in height as well as padding. Also for guys over 6ft the console rubs the right knee is should be 1 to 2" inches narrower at this knee area for the driver.

Hope that the completely redesigned Tahoe for 2015 improves all these grimes since the TAHOE overall has been my vehicle for the last 20 years...

I don't think you need a 2015 Tahoe to fix your problems. I've had 5 since 07 and have had terrible annoying problems but it sounds like you have a lemon. As for the seating position, I'm 6' 1" and these are about the only vehicles I can find a good driving position. And the seats in our '13 LTZ Tahoe are way softer than the seats in our '12 LTZ suburban. And thankfully this Tahoe doesn't have vibration at 65 or cylinder deactivation vibration.

Thanks Chad indeed seems like a Tahoe manufactured a Monday at 8am or Friday at 4pm Maybe the front seats of my 2011 LTZ were done with wood instead of foam :headbang:
