I had LTZ 20's + 305/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my avalanche beforehand and got 14.8 mpg. I've now had the Toyo Open Country MT's for a few months with rep ck375 22's and my mpg is....... still 14.8 -- absolutely 0 change in mpg... just food for thought. I thought i'd lose major mpg's but I didn't.

Thanks bro. They might fit your 22's BUT lowered it'll be rubbing pretty badly. I have a 2.5"/1.5" leveling kit on my avalanche and still had to trim the wheel well liners and take off the factory mud flaps since it was rubbing on those too. Depending on your offset your rims has, it could be better or worse. A positive offset would make it a lot easier for you to fit. My rims have a +31 offset which is a good thing as far as rubbing is concerned.

Likely the diameter of your MTs are larger which may lead to the discrepancy. I moved from the Open Country ATs to the MTs and I could very easily feel the added weight. There's no argument here. It adds weight. At least 20lbs of unsprung weight per corner. Heavy beasts.

MTs are a good aesthetic choice. Practical? Not so much.

Or you can do a 285 50 20. Main thing we need to get stock spindles back on your truck.

Seeing he will go in snow id get rid of your chome wheels since snow will eat em up. Tbss gloss bkack 22x9 with 285 50 22 would work ouy perfect.

Rear belltech 2 inch soring and ill keep the one inch spacer in will gice the truck a mre even look and ride good.

I do agree that it does add weight. There is also added weight going from LTZ 20's to rep ck375 22's. Which is why I find it odd that I in fact -didn't- lose any MPG's... 14.8 before and 14.8 after
