01KONVICT, I have a 2012, but 2wd and been seriously contemplating this build, flares and all. I have been putting money to the side because I would like to do it all at one time. I figured buy once cry once. How much in all has this build cost you, after trouble shooting issues and so forth. Did you lose your autoride with this install? Also is there any shop you would recommend. I work offshore in the GOM, so free time is limited on my hands.

He kept autoride...

$4,000 in lift roughly
$1500-2000 in driveshafts
Probably $2000 wheels and tires
$500 flares

Estimates.

Your 2wd could achieve lift way cheaper with spindles

See total prices below. My kit is definetly custom for my application. I doubt your XL will give you issues like my short base did to me. I retained autoride with my kit. Shops depends on area you live. If I were to do it again I would get the Bulletproof 6-8". They told me the rear end comes with trailing arm drop brackets but I haven't seen them in photos yet. So if they don't come in the kit you can get pro comp drop brackets or fabtech longer trailing arms like mine.

Lift - $2200
UCAs - $450
Fabtech rear box kit - $800
Zone adjustable upper trailing arms - $375
Driveshaft repair/rework/build - $1675

Damn...maybe I should not ***** about the $700 I got quoted yesterday. I was feeling sorry for myself lol

Is that to build your front? If so you can buy them for $500 new from various lift companies. That price is a total for rebuild front and rear, build of new rear shaft with dual cardan and adjusting pinion angle, and final of new male shaft on front.

That not quite as bad as I was figuring up on. though I spent some time looking though the bullet proof suspension, and between the basic 6-8" lift and the fully upgraded one is quite a difference in price from 3k to 6,200$. Though from looking at it, I do not think I will go with the fully upgraded set-up. Wont even bother trying to say she is gonna be a mud truck, she will be a highway queen, but beable to drive though high waters we always get here in south Louisiana. I did give thought to have lockers put in the rear end incase I ever happen to get into something they should get me out.
