I have a 2011 yukon. My air ride went out due to a hope in my shocks, it burnt the compressor up. I replaced the shocks and compressor. I can't get the compressor to come on now. I've verified power, jumped 87-30. What else can I do? Anyone got any suggestions?

Not sure how the ride control system works on the 2011 but if there’s a fault code it might not let it operate. Might have to clear the fault code in the ride control module.

That's what I was worried about. I've unhooked batteries for 15-30 minutes everytime I've messed with it hoping something would reset.

Check the wiring for the compressor and verify that the new compressor actually works. Do you have a Tech-2 so you can test it on the car?

Swathdiver, I do not. Would not being able to clear the codes in the (BCM?) cause it to not operate?

You may have gotten a DOA compressor.
+1. Also, if you installed the Dorman compressor, it does not switch on for a test cycle every time you turn the ignition on like the original pump does. The only way to test the Dorman pump is to add weight to the backend so that it switches on. It also won’t switch on with the Tech2 scanner like the original will.
