2012 Denali XL: will these wheels fit?

I have a 2012 Yukon Denali XL. It has the default ALY5304 rims. They are old, and the chrome is peeling.

A buddy of mine has a set of 4 ALY5698U80s that he just took off his 2015 Yukon XL. Will they fit on my 2012? I know the diameter is the same, but I'm not sure of the offset and such.

That sounds really promising! Will there be no issue with it messing up my differential/transaxle, given that my truck is AWD?

Not unless hes got a bunch of mis matched tire sizes on them.

Had them on my 2011 no problems with offset or anything. They fit perfect... tpms may not be interchangeable I had to buy new ones for my truck.

When you say you had to buy new TPMS, did you buy new ones to fit your current truck or the truck they came off of? (i.e. if these came from a 2015 Yukon, I'd still buy TPMS for my 2012)

Disregard my comment about the tpms. I just googled and seen that they sell the same ones for both year trucks. So you should be fine. I really don’t remember why I had to buy 4 new ones now.... maybe a couple were bad or something but I know my tire sensor light was on for quite some time until I bought all new valves

So bottom line, I can throw the wheels on the truck, just do a TPMS learn, and it's all good?

Yes, you should be able to do so. The wheels in your first link have the same 31mm offset as your OEM wheels, and the wheels in your second link have a 27mm offset, which should be close enough. If the TPMS transmitter frequencies are the same (which @Tonyv__ says that he's confirmed), then that won't be an issue, either.

Update: just wanted to let you know that I went for it. Found a take-off set for $800, switched the tires to the new rims, had them rotated, match mounted, and road forced balanced. Plug and play, pretty much. Rides so smooth like it's on glass. Speedometer is spot on, everything is perfect. Thanks guys!
