I am not totally sure that would bother me all that much, but I get your point. :)

Are the fumes under the truck a bad idea? Any harm in that?

From my CB Radio.

Two questions

1) If I leave the exhaust stock (meaning not running it to the cutouts on the bumper) can I just bolt on the bumper leaving the spare in place? Or will the dual exhaust extensions themself hit the spare?

There's a bigger issue that's unrelated to the exhaust. The dual bumper doesn't have a hoist access point, so even if you kept the exhaust and spare the same behind the bumper, you wouldn't be able to lower the spare when you need it.

Well played Sergio. Forgot about that whole debacle.

If imagine it would be if there was nowhere for the fumes to escape. There's plenty of ground clearance for it to circulate and dissipate. Plenty of folks running turn downs.

^^this and ditto what serge said. I, too, forgot about that. I have seen someone solve that but not sure it'd be worth the trouble.

This is true but in the winter when it's cold it'll also look silly seeing the exhaust coming from around the rear axle as opposed to the exhaust exits.

IMO if you can't run without a spare skip the dual exhaust bumper but that's just my opinion which doesn't mean much.

It wouldnt bother me much... Ever see the exhaust on a S197 Saleen Mustang?

Hmm to be honest, Ive never had to lower the spare on my tahoe so I don't ven know where the access hole is. Ill have to take a look and see if I could drill a hole in the Esky bumper for it. I would do the whole inflatable tire thing but if you have a blow out good luck lol

I also use to work for American Racing Headers so I would eventually have them look at doing an exhaust while keeping the spare. I had a SLP dual exhaust on my TBSS and they ran it around the spare so I dont think the Tahoe should be that hard. Then again I haven't really looked at it closely.

Edit: After looking at the back of my truck (I swear ive never noticed that square piece in the back bumper) it would be horrible looking to drill that hole in the esky bumper.. Hmm anyone have a solution for how to access that with the esky bumoer??

Someone moved the lock cylinder I believe so you could hide it behind hitch cover.
