2012 Tahoe LTZ "Service Suspension System" after Resistors

I have a 2012 Tahoe LTZ that I'm trying to remove the "service suspension system" on the driver display.

Note: I have not and don't plan to change the shocks, I'm just trying to override the air ride (or whatever I should call it).

I installed these resistors on all 4 shocks:

I also uninstalled the rear air hose coming from the compressor. With everything installed, the compressor kicks on for 5-10 seconds and then stops. I get no warning lights when doing this so I think the resistor are all working right.

I'm trying to stop the compressor from coming on at all. I pulled the fuse, but now I am getting the "service suspension system" on the driver display. How do I get rid of it?

For those interested in why I'm trying to uninstall the air ride without changing the shocks:

The truck has 200,000 miles on it and we use it only to tow our boat in another state. We drive it maybe 200 miles a year with 50 of those towing the boat (we're about 3/4 mile from the water). So I'm really not interested in putting new shocks on it since it works fine. However, the compressor sounds terrible and runs a lot. So I'm guessing the compressor is about to die and the shocks have holes in them. So i just want to turn off the air ride without changing anything else. We've been driving it for about the past year with the compressor fuse out. It's juts annoying to have to press a button everytime you start the truck to get the message to go away.

probably have to put the fuse back in and pull the large relay instead which is taped to the main harness below the fuse box area
doing that may or may not work, worth a try

I thought I might have read somewhere that you need to pull the fuse with the battery disconnected. Is this a thing?

I can also try (but haven't yet) unplugging the compressor harness from the compressor.

It is feeling like there is something that senses whether the compressor comes on or not. This would explain that when it's all plugged in and the compressor runs for 5-10 seconds after you start the truck I get no warning lights...even though the tubing is removed from the compressor to the shocks. Seems like there is a sensor on the compressor that tells the computer it is working.

I took a look in the manual and there are three fuses related to the automatic level control system:
#2: Electronic Stability Suspension Control, Automatic Level Control Exhaust
#54: Automatic Level Control Compressor Relay
#58: Automatic Level Control Compressor

I pulled #54 and this is when the "Service Suspension System" came on in the DIC. I put that fuse back in for the moment.

I'm going to make sure that the message goes away with all of the fuses installed. I suspect the compressor will go through a self check and then all will be fine. The air hoses from the compressor to the rear shocks will remain unplumbed so the compressor doesn't do anything whether it runs or not.

Assuming this works, I think I will try to remove these one at a time to see if one of them disables the compressor, but doesn't display the message.

I forgot to look for the relay that was mentioned earlier by Doubelieve.

Re-installing #54 made the compressor run through what I think is called the "self-test" and then no warnings pop up.

I've since removed #58 which is a J-case fuse. I haven't driven it, but did start it. The compressor doesn't come on and no warnings popped up. Hopefully it stays that way.

I'll keep you all posted.

I've read other places that I need to remove the negative battery terminal, remove the fuse, then re-install the negative battery terminal. I have not been doing that, but will if folks think it's important.

When I deleted my air ride, I disconnected the battery before pulling the fuse. I don’t get the service suspension message
