my 2012 denali had a nav disc it's still in the factory head unit I pulled out and sitting in my closet. part of the reason I got rid of it is because I could hear the stupid disc reading every few seconds annoying as hell

If that is the case(hard drive)maybe this should be posted in the 07-14 section as us 2015+ owners aren't having much luck giving advice on this one. LOL

Update on this issue. I went with an after market radio rather than getting the one I had fixed or a replacement OEM.

We put in a Kenwood DNX574S in Friday. I thought I got the right adapters but I’m missing all the “dummy” sounds in the truck - no key in ignition, no lift gate warning, no back up warning (I park by sound a lot) not even turn signals sounds.

Did I miss a wire or is it another adapter I need to install?
