I have a 2012 Tahoe PPV , first responder. It appears that the flashers within the head and tail lights are still installed, as well as the whalen sirens, etc.

All the wires were bunched under the radio in the center console. Can anyone lead me in the general direction of what is needed to hook them back up? I am not at all familiar with the vehicle wiriing.

The owners manual supplement has all the wiring diagrams. It all depends on what you are trying to get to work. If you want the wig wag lights to work find a green wire with a red tracer and put 12 volts to it. should be on that large blue connector. Good luck and welcome aboard.

This page is out of the 2011 Chevrolet police technical manual. pdf which I found online.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I am looking to hook up the wig wags with the added LED bulb in the head and tail lights. I am also looking to hook up the sirens to a PA / chirp radio.

Do you know which each of these bundles are for?

Each picture is a separate bundle under the dash.

Sorry the pictures didn't attach. Each picture is a separate bundle. Trying to figure out which each are used for.

Each bundle is attached.20190330_184135.jpeg20190330_184221.jpeg20190330_184246.jpeg

The blue plug just has the one green wire coming out of it.

Which Whelen system are you using?

Most of these wires are installed from factory, ran from the cab through the firewall and out to the front of the vehicle for customers' convenience. Some of these are "trigger" wires that you would connect to a controller. Controller as in a Whelen, FedSig, Code3 ect ect system. Others such as speaker wires would connect to the speaker wires coming out of the controller.

So far I see you have 6J4 (taps in to your horn to work the "hands free siren" option on the siren system of your choosing) and WX7 (front door speaker wiring for police radio). Do you see anything that says 6J7?

Thank you for the input. No I don't see anything that says 6J7. Just those three bundles with the two identified as WX7 and 6J4. How do I tell which Whalen system is installed?

Looking to procure the equipment to engage the head/tail and additional LED bulbs in the head and tail lights. Also the siren installed in the front grille. Any recommendations to get started?

Looking at the provided manual now to see if I can make sense of it.
