Also be aware that with a 2015 you are missing some features the later trucks have. Like wireless charging, CarPlay, and adaptive cruise. Maybe some more?

If I knew what I do now I would have gotten a later model year than the 2015 I have. I added the wireless charging but the CarPlay and adaptive cruise aren’t cheap/easy to add. Just FYI.
I don't know - Sometimes simplier is easier to maintain and cheaper to service.

My 2015 Denali does speed up and slow down so did they really make 3 different levels of cruise control in 2015? I would also argue that most of the time while I don't mind the adaptive cruise it is absolutely brutal about minor things causing it to absolutely demolish your momentum if you are having to occasionally maneuver around a slower vehicle. I personally would prefer normal cruise after having it for half a year but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

My understanding is the 2015 wireless charging center console lid is also outdated and won't work with most modern phones. I also can say that my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn't even lay flat in the center console charging area so if you have a good size phone it is moot anyway.
Not sure about yours but I can turn adaptive cruise off on my Sierra.

Just a quick update, been busy the last few days. I went and checked it out the other day. First impression pulling up to it was pretty good, looked as good as it did in the pictures. Exterior looked clean and no major damage or signs of previous repair. Interior looks in good shape, no real damage but use a good cleaning/detailing. Underneath looked good, actually real good for our area. Fuel and brake lines clean, no signs of leakage at pinion, axles, tranny/transfer case, some signs of oil at rear of motor but doesn't look shiny wet/fresh. Frame and suspension look in good condition, again real good for our area. Front struts were just replaced this fall and the rears about a year ago. Trans was rebuilt just over 13,000 miles ago and he showed me the paperwork. Engine bay looks pretty clean, pass exh manifold leaking at #8 could see the carbon around the port. Couple moist areas, but nothing that caused concern right now. Was glad he had not had it running before I got there so I could hear cold start and it was cold that day(25). Fired it up and there was some racket for about 5-7 seconds and then it settled down some and could still hear a ticking but wasn't real sure if it was valvetrain or exhaust leak. Let it warm up a few minutes and it quieted down a lot but didn't go away completely. Took it for a drive and it drove well, shifted nice, no pulling or pulsing from the brakes, rode nice and quiet on neighborhood streets and good for a short jaunt on the highway. Everything in the interior seemed to work, seats moved and heated up, rear seats folded and unfolded, heat and defrost were good and I'll have to take his word on AC for now. Overall I was satisfied with the vehicle, nothing major wrong and the owner seemed trustworthy and not trying to hide anything. Only thing I wasn't really expecting but not surprised at all about was some bubbling on the rockers under the rear doors. It wasn't shown in any of the pics, but at the price it's not a big deal to get it fixed, just unexpected. So we are going to meet up at his bank tomorrow and I'll be coming home with it and I'm sure will have more questions after that.
