your putting 285 45 22 on it correct?

have you thought about doing a little 2/2 lowering job on it?

This might be the shyt! They are chome, and I'm thinking this is what I probably seen (and liked) on a NBS Yukon sporting another style of factory rep 22's the other day.

My local Chevy Dealer is a few miles away, and a simple phone call with part # in hand will give me their asking price. (Which I'm sure I'll probably faint)

Seen em as low as $100 a set here and there online. I believe they take either a 22mm, or 7/8" Socket.
Now this sounds like a bit more meat to fill those humongous Lug Holes in the wheels.

Yes, my truck might be a 1997, but those wheels aren't.

These here, which the Yeti is showing on these exact same wheels look like the lug-lock set I earlier linked to.

Tony, there might come a day where I'll leave this dusty dump known as NM, and move maybe back to Wisc, where I once lived as a teen, or MN.

In those two states, I'll need all the ground clearance I can get.

I'll keep these as summer wheels-tires, and throw some junker 16's back on with some skinnys that will knife through all those wonderful snow drifts in winter. LOL

I got a set of lugs like the ones you want from a member there in the classified section. They fit my factory 22 perfect and they look real good with the chrome. No rusting is the best because they are stainless. Check out the classified section like 2 months back. I think he had a bunch of sets.

I looked but couldn't find the specific ad you refer to.

I do know the part is GM 17801711. This is the lug-lock set, said to be chrome (chromed stainless steel?) and said to fit 20" wheels.

With the need of either a 22mm or 7/8" socket to install these, I can understand-grasp how these would not fit many of the smaller wheels, factory, or aftermarket, because so many have much smaller lug holes and won't offer enough clearance.

Here, at $100 plus about $10 shipping/handling this isn't too bad. If stainless steel construction I can sort of understand the higher asking price.

I'll check the local dealer, sometimes their prices are in line, and other times the prices are quite high. Depends what it is I guess.

IMO, these will look the best with these large Factory Repro Wheels.
Wonder why Factory Reproductions don't handle these, they no doubt fit many GM SUVs-Trucks.

I think these are pretty much unobtanium at this point, appear to be "take-offs", and didn't have the locks. (I think Locks for these killer wheels would be wise)

I just went ahead and ordered the new Lug-Lock Kit, GM #17801711 from GM Parts Direct. Price with shipping came to $110.

My local GM Dealer quoted $140, and wasn't sure if he could even get them?

I can't wait to see them mounted. I have the 421q tire and it's good.
