So, I previously owned a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LT. I changed the radio out to a Kenwood system with remote, so that I could have a remote, blue tooth and be able to use the factory steering wheel controls.
I just sold it and purchased a used 2015 Tahoe LT and this radio system is the one that "rolls up" and has a "touch menu screen' with the audio, phone, Pandora, Settings and a few other icons and rear view camera. How do I identify which model radio this is?
I have tried multiple times to hook up my 6th generation Apple iTouch, using the USB, with no results. The "media"button, will not recognize it. I talked to the service guy at the dealer where I purchased it and he told me that the 2015 LT Tahoe does not have this capability. Is this true?
The only way the iTouch works is using a double male 3.5mm plug.
Is there an aftermarket radio system available, that retains all the factory functionalities, using the steering wheel controls, blue tooth, roll up capability of the screen, rear view camera and still maintains all the factory functions and a remote control?
